When I go on a nature trip where most of the time I have to spend outside so I always try to save my pocket.. hotel Royal is the same saviour for all.. provides well equipped rooms at nominal charges and great service..

the hotel is very decent and the service is very fast. quite good and amazing experience :) They serve you breakfast at room too. No Mosquitos or any type of insects. Rooms are big and they provide extra bed & blankets on request.

We took a non-AC room. The Hotel has no power back-up which is the biggest drawback. They couldn't provide warm water for bathing as they didn't even have spare buckets. Western Toilets don't have a Seat(the plastic one), no sprinklers or health faucets, no shower in the bathroom. there was no water & the for one whole day during power outage & the staff got water for us from the adjacent Hotel which had Power Back-up. Staff was pretty foolish & unprofessional. No telephone in the room so we had to go to the reception every time we wanted something. There was no electricity all over Pachmarhi for a day. We spent a night without light and fan. There were mosquitoes in the room which could enter because of a section of window that went open above the Cooler. It was closed by a thermocol sheet & hotel staff couldn't even fit it properly as they were trying to save Cellotape for fitting it properly, ultimately we had to do it, Hotel manager gave us a Candle to lighten our room. Pathetic!!! Overall it was a terrible experience just because of the Hotel. My tip for anybody planning a Pachmarhi Trip would be to check if the hotel has power back-up or not beforehand & don't ever pre-pay the hotel charges as they get negligent about the service. You don't even need to book a Hotel before reaching there. Stay ready to pay heavy & get good accomodation & service as there are plenty of Hotels & agents as well. Hotel Paandav & Blue-Moon are really good options instead. I wish I had booked any of those good ones. Puneet Mathur
